License Courses
The Hazel Park Amateur Radio Club has been offering license courses for nearly the entire lifetime of the club, both for new prospective operators and for those looking to upgrade their license class.
All Classes are Zoom only this time. Please email Mike Slupinski our education chairman at N8VDZ at outlook dot com to register.
There are 3 levels of licensing you can get but you need to get them in order. Technician, General then Amateur Extra. Here is the fall Schedule:
Technician class will be held in Tuesday, January 12, 2027 running to March 09, 2027. Contact address above if interested.
General class – None scheduled at this time.
Amateur Extra class – None scheduled at this time.
License Testing
The club also has many volunteer examiners (VEs) in its ranks, and in addition to holding its own license examination sessions, it also regularly assists other area clubs in their exam efforts. Hazel Park ARC VE sessions happen on the first Tuesday of every even-numbered month.
