License Courses
The Hazel Park Amateur Radio Club has been offering license courses for nearly the entire lifetime of the club, both for new prospective operators and for those looking to upgrade their license class.
The current license course information is as follows:
- Technician: Tuesday evenings, 7-9 PM ET, beginning January 9, 2024 and running through March 5, 2024 on Zoom
- Amateur Extra: Tuesday evenings, 7-9 PM ET, beginning January 9, 2024 and running through later in 2024 on Zoom

License Testing
The club also has many volunteer examiners (VEs) in its ranks, and in addition to holding its own license examination sessions, it also regularly assists other area clubs in their exam efforts. Hazel Park ARC VE sessions happen on the first Tuesday of every even-numbered month.
