Lastly, just a word about club officer nominations – if you haven’t sent yours in yet, please do so to hparcelections at gmail dot com!

Election 2023 – Nominations

It’s that time of year again! We have begun to seek nominations for club officers. Members should have received an email from hparcelections at gmail dot com with instructions on how to nominate members for office, as well as the guidelines for nomination.

Just an FYI – we’ve relaxed the membership requirements for some of the offices. You can now nominate members with only 6 months of membership behind them for the positions of Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Director. The board approved this plan so that we can get some more participation from our newer members who might have some good ideas for our club.

If you did not receive the email, please check your spam filter, or send an email to hparcelections at gmail dot com. We look forward to hearing from the membership – remember, whoever you nominate will potentially be leading your club for the next year!

May 2022 Meeting and Newsletter

Our May meeting will include a presentation from Steve Bible, N7HPR. Steve has a long history of being a technical innovator and proponent in Amateur Radio, and he will be speaking to our club about the nanoVNA and tinySA SDR-based testing tools, and how they use SDR technology to work.

We will also be announcing the official results of the 2022 Club Officer elections at this meeting!

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 11th at 7:30 PM EDT at the Hazel Park District Library. We’ll also have Zoom up and running for those who can’t make it. If you are not a member and would like to attend via Zoom, please email one of the board members for further information.
